The Early Childhood ministry is continuing to grow and is needing more volunteers to help on Sunday mornings with babies through 5 years of age. If you’d be willing to commit to once a month of loving, encouraging, and teaching our young kids about Jesus, sign up below. 

The time commitment for serving is 1 ½ hours on Sunday morning, once a month.

The Awana Bible Lesson Teacher engages with kids on Wednesday night through planning and preparing the lessons during our teaching time. Teaching includes two rotations of AWANA lessons: one with Sparks (K-2 Grade) and one with T&T (3-5 grade).

The time commitment is approximately 2-2 ½ hours per week, depending on how long at-home lesson preparation takes, with 1 ½ of those at church on Wednesday nights. Awana resources are provided by the Elementary Associate and stocked in the large group room each semester.

AWANA Leaders guide a small group on Wednesday nights through three nightly rotations: recreation, lesson time, and handbook time. Leaders encourage participation and recitation during recreation and handbook time, refocus attention when needed, and engage with the children throughout the night. The time commitment is 2 hours per week on Wednesday night. No preparation or teaching is required. Awana resources are provided by the Elementary Associate and stocked in the group room each semester.

Life Group Teachers & Assistants should enjoy and be passionate about discipling students, engaging with them, fostering community and relationship within the Life Groups, praying for and alongside the students, and being able to keep track of attendance to reach out to those who have been absent for an extended period.

The time commitment is approximately 2-2 ½ hours per week, depending on how long at-home lesson preparation takes, with 1 ½ of those at church on Sunday mornings. Life Group resources and training is provided by the Student Pastor.

Life Group Leaders & Teachers help develop relationships within community across the church. Guiding discussion and the study of God’s Word to help others grow in His grace and truth, as well as living missionally through applying it in everyday life.

The time commitment is approximately 2-2 ½ hours per week, depending on how long at-home lesson preparation takes, and your time together as a group.

Our Greeters engage with guests and members each Sunday, welcoming them to Fellowship Olathe and helping answer any questions surrounding directions and discipleship. If you have a welcoming energetic personality with the ability to help families and adults get connected to the family of Fellowship Olathe, we’d love to have you join this team.

Being on the Parking & Setup Team helps make a great first impression for guests and members. From helping make coffee to setting up guest parking signs and keeping our parking lot safe as people come and go, this team is a lot of fun to serve on!

If you have a heart for worship through singing or playing keyboard, bass, guitar, drums, etc., we’d like to have you join our Worship Team; please sign up below. We practice on Wednesday nights 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. and then rehearse on Sundays at 8:15 a.m. before the service begins.

Our Helping Hands ministry is made up of men and women who like to serve with their hands. Whether it’s helping stack chairs and reset spaces at the church, decorating for events during different seasons of the year, helping keep our building clean (vacuuming, taking out trash, etc.), or helping with landscaping or construction projects (yardwork, light carpentry and remodel projects, etc.), we’d love to have you join our Helping Hands team.

Our Admin Ministry is made up of volunteers who like to help with administrative needs of our church office. Helping pack, sort, and prep supplies for events and ministry areas of the church. If you’d like to serve as needed throughout the week for an hour or two, that would be a great help.
