Kids Ministry Opportunities
Kids Life Group Lead Teacher
Sundays | 9:15-10:45 a.m.
1 Volunteer Needed with Subs Always Welcome
Lead Teachers are asked to be prepared and ready to teach their elementary class on Sunday mornings. The time commitment is approximately 2-2 ½ hours per week, depending on how long at-home lesson preparation takes, with 1 ½ of those at church on Sunday mornings.
Life Group resources are provided by the Elementary Associate and stocked in the classroom every week. Aside from teaching the Gospel Project lesson every Sunday, Life Group leads should enjoy and be passionate about discipling children, engaging with them, fostering community and relationship within the Life Groups, praying for and alongside the children, and be able to keep track of attendance to reach out to those families who have been absent for an extended period.
Kids Life Group Assistant Teacher

2 Volunteers Needed with Subs Always Welcome

Kids Worship Row Volunteer
Sundays | 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
2-3 Volunteers Needed
The Kids Worship Row Volunteer engage with the children during the interim time between 1st and 2nd service, help find Bible verses, help redirect focus, monitor the bathroom break, model worship alongside the children, and assist with clean-up and checkout process, following FO procedures for safe checkout and during pickup time.
AWANA Rotation Volunteer
Wednesdays | 6:30-7:45 p.m.
9 Volunteers Needed with Subs Always Welcome
AWANA rotation volunteers guide a small group, Wednesday nights, through three nightly rotations: recreation, lesson time, and handbook time. Rotation volunteers encourage participation and recitation during recreation and handbook time, refocus attention when needed, and engage with the children throughout the night. The time commitment is 2 hours per week on Wednesday night. No preparation or teaching is required.
AWANA Bible Lesson Teacher
Wednesdays | 6:30-7:45 p.m.
1 Volunteer Needed
The Awana Bible Lesson Teacher is responsible for planning for, preparing for, and teaching two rotations of AWANA lessons: one with Sparks (K-2nd Grade) and one with T&T (3rd-5th grade). The weekly time commitment is approximately 3 hours per week.
AWANA Recreation Volunteer
Wednesdays | 6:30-7:45 p.m.
1-2 Volunteers Needed
Awana Recreation Volunteer plans for and guides the children through each Wednesday night recreation rotation. Game ideas and help setting up the game for the night is available. The weekly time commitment is approximately 2 hours per week.
Early Childhood Volunteer
Sundays | 9:30 or 11:00 a.m.
5-6 Volunteer Needed
The Early Childhood ministry is continuing to grow and is needing more volunteers to help on Sunday mornings with babies through 5 years of age. If you’d be willing to commit to once a month of loving, encouraging, and teaching our young kids about Jesus sign up below.

Greeter

Our Greeters help welcoming guests and members each Sunday and answer any questions surrounding directions and next steps. If you have a welcoming energetic personality with the ability to help families and adults get connected to the family of Fellowship Olathe, we’d love to have you join this team.
Usher
Sundays | 9:30 Service & 11:00 Service.
4 Volunteers Needed (2 at 9:30 & 2 at 11:00)
Our Ushers help guests and members feel welcome ino our Worship Services and assits in finding open seats when services fill up. They also assit in helping collect offering and answer any questions surrounding next steps at Fellowship Olathe.
Parking & Setup
Sundays | 8:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
2 Volunteers Needed
Being on the parking and setup team helps make a great first impression for guests and members. From helping make coffee, to setting up guest parking signs, and keeping our parking lot safe as people come and go, this team is a lot of fun to serve on!
Security
Wednesdays | 6:30-7:45 p.m.
2 Volunteers Needed
No one ever wants anything to happen at church, but our security team helps us be prepared for anything that may arise from security risks to medical assitance. If you have a background in law enforcement, military, or medical services and would like to help assit in these areas for our church please sign up below.
