About
Discipleship groups at Fellowship Olathe exists to help people grow in God’s grace and truth and live on mission in relationship with others. This is a foundational way we get to be apart of the family of God and carry out the great commission. Acts 5:42 gives us a window into what church was like just after Jesus’ death and resurrection…”And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.” The early church had both large gatherings and small group gatherings, and so it is at Fellowship Olathe.
Life Groups
Week-to-week gatherings
You were created to live in community with others, and one way to build community at Fellowship Olathe is through a Life Group.
Life Groups meet week-to-week onsite and offisite with people who are in the general same season/age of life. In short Life Groups are places where people can “do life together” as they learn to follow Christ and share His grace and truth with others.
Growth Groups
Semester-based gatherings
Growth groups are designed to help you get to know other members of the FO family and grow in specific areas in your walk with the Lord (Spiritual Disciplines, Accountability, Envagelism, Stewardship, Parenting, Marriage, Missional Living, Gospel Identity, Apologetics, etc.)
Whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for generations or just met the Lord last week, we invite you to join one of our Growth Groups to help you continue to grow.
Group Leaders
Biblical servant leadership is the heart of what defines a great leader. As a group leader, it is important to realize the responsibility and privilege that God has granted in serving Him and His church. We seek to be a healthy growing church, therefore, we strive to train and equip servant leaders for new discipleship groups throughout the year. Let us know if you’re interested in starting a new group.
