Administrative Assistant
Position Type:
- Hourly
- Part-time / 28 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday
Reporting to: Senior Pastor
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer service (phones/walk-ins)
- Interface with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Maintain office files (vendor, operations, general)
- Complete necessary errands.
- Manage office inventory and order necessary supplies.
- Prepare office correspondence and meeting agendas.
- Create and update Church wide correspondence via email, text, and print.
- Update member profiles and group assignments in F1 Go database.
- Run reports for attendance, membership, and giving in F1 Go database.
- Create event forms in F1 Go database.
- Complete check requests forms and prepare a weekly accounting bag for pick up.
- Reconcile and enter credit card transactions.
- Compile and distribute Year-end statements.
- Perform other relevant duties when needed.
Job skills, education, and training:
- Prior administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to handle confidential information.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to pass a background check.
Children's Pastor
Position Type:
- Full time
- Salaried Exempt
Reporting to: Senior Pastor
Summary: The Children’s Pastor will implement cohesive plans and systems for discipleship across E.C. and Elementary ministries. The Children’s Pastor will ensure parents have opportunities and resources to disciple their children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the vision, values, and direction of Fellowship Olathe in all family ministries.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate Worship Services.
- Develop and oversee Life groups and Wednesday P.M. activities.
- Champion and advocate for all family ministries.
- Oversee and develop the staff in Early Childhood and Elementary.
- Gauge ministry effectiveness and bring staff and ministries into alignment.
- Create plans and strategies that foster health and development of staff and ministry volunteers.
- Identify ministry and staffing opportunities based on the growth needs of Fellowship Olathe.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the families at Fellowship Olathe.
- Recruit and develop of volunteers.
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate ministry events.
- Create appropriate ministry budgets and calendar.
- Identify and execute church wide family events.
- Participate in various staff meetings as required, including staff retreats.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
Job skills, education, and training:
- A clear gospel testimony and call to ministry.
- Licensing or Ordination to gospel ministry.
- Ministry related degree.
- Effective organizational skills.
- The ability to lead and develop others.
- The ability to recruit and train volunteers.
- Proficient computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- The ability to pass a background check.
Worship Pastor
Position Type:
- Full time
- Salaried Exempt
Reporting to: Senior Pastor
Key Responsibilities: Lead the worship ministries of Fellowship Olathe.
- Coordinate with the Senior Pastor to create and lead well-planned and engaging worship services.
- Maintain a minimum of 4 weeks of worship plans for the Sunday services including teams, songs, worship elements, announcements, and service graphics.
- Assist with the recruitment and development of worship teams across all ministry areas.
- Develop and train future worship leaders and musicians.
- Oversee technical/media staff and volunteers.
- Lead midweek and Sunday morning rehearsals for worship services.
- Develop and maintain an annual budget for the Worship and Media ministries.
- Plan and conduct special services (Good Friday, Easter, Christmas Eve, Worship nights, etc.)
- Oversee and coordinate music and media for special events.
Job skills, education, and training:
- A clear gospel testimony and call to ministry.
- Licensing or Ordination to gospel ministry preferred.
- Degree in music or ministry related studies preferred.
- Effective organizational skills.
- The ability to lead with guitar or keyboard.
- The ability to use Planning Center.
- The ability to lead worship and worship teams.
- The ability to lead and develop others.
- The ability to recruit and train volunteers.
- Proficient computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- The ability to pass a background check.
